The projects for this year, aside from getting the finished novels edited, polished, and published, is some TTRPG (table-top role-playing game) materials. Specifically, I have two campaign settings partially completed - for those not ‘in the know’, a campaign setting is a description of a world or setting in which stories can be told and games may be played, including rules as wella s background information and general worldbuilding. My kind of thing, you know?
Neither campaign setting is ready to go as yet, although I’m hoping to launch a crowdfunding campaign for the first one towards the end of this month. That will be a steampunk, industrial revolution period alternate Earth, with Cthulhean tendencies and options for city-based espionage and rogue- and scoundrel-centric games as well as the usual wilderness fantasy adventures.
In the meantime, though, my very first published adventure module is now live! Exciting stuff, for me at least, and a lot more work than I anticipated.
Guardian Griffons of the Tower of the Dead is a standalone game for Pathfinder Second Edition, designed for 4 - 6 griffon characters of level 4. It includes rules for making griffon characters in the Pathfinder system (the rules for griffons are available separately, too, as a freebie: download here).
In other news, Red Dragon book 3, In Seaglass, is also finished and has joined the editing queue :) I’m super happy with the way the story’s come out, and really looking forward to writing some more in this world. I’m aiming to properly start recording the audiobook version of book 1 next month.
